You have a lot of experience as a job trainer. What characteristics do students in these training courses have? What differences do you find compared to those who study a regulated vocational training course?
The main difference I see is wear and tear. People who are coming from a period of unemployment, or who are changing sectors, have much clearer ideas but find it a bit difficult to open up to everything that the market currently demands. Firstly, because of the insecurity of not having the skills and competencies, and secondly because they think they cannot achieve them.

Although there are exceptions, the vast majority are not digital natives and this profile affects these types of initial blockages. Even so, once overcome, the level of progress ends up being higher than in many cases of formal training.

As for students of regulated vocational training, they have all the skills to acquire technological competences as digital natives, but unfortunately, the vast majority (with a few honourable exceptions) have very little tolerance for frustration, the creation of routines and self-criticism capacity.

In this specific case, or speaking of any person who needs to combine studies with another area of ​​life, all types of learning have a place.

That is why e-learning is not a competitor, but rather the piece of the machinery that the educational system was missing, giving everyone an equal opportunity to be able to learn.
