Lyudmila masters course after course and turns her love for neural networks into a career

We previously wrote about Lyudmila here .

Briefly about Lyudmila
Ludmila, 54 years old, Moscow

I am still a freelancer. Over the past two years, I have completed many training courses and expanded my activities. Now I provide development and neural network services.

I privately conduct training on Midjourney, am a uk email database mentor on neural networks and a speaker at the Zerocoder Neuroclub.

In February 2024, the university held its first hackathon on neural networks. I was the team leader, and we took first place. In September, the Neuroclub held a business game using AI. And again, the team I led took first place.

From Newbie to Guru
Most of the courses I've taken during this time are from Zerocoder. The rest are from other online schools, not because I don't like our university, but because there are no such programs here yet.

I completed all the fundamental courses - web development, mobile applications, neural networks. About seven in total, not counting the many intensive courses.

I am currently taking a Python course. Before I got there, I attended a three-day intensive course and simply fell in love with the combination of Python and ChatGPT.

Although I am a programmer in the past, for me it was just a miracle. You know, like when a child is given a toy for the New Year - I had the same feeling of magic when, with the help of ChatGPT, I made a full-fledged chatbot in Python in a couple of days.

Favorite courses
As for my favorite courses, I really liked Adalo. I would like to use this tool for commercial mobile development, but the platform itself changed its terms of use, which greatly reduced its attractiveness for clients from Russia.

And, of course, courses on neural networks are a miracle, a wonder, a marvel. Every day there is so much new! If a year ago I was tracking all the new products, testing them personally, then in a year their avalanche has become so huge that there is no time left to test each platform. Therefore, now I do it selectively - out of great interest.

Since the appearance of neural networks in my life, I began to collect my own mini-libraries of useful things so that I could immediately look through and find the necessary tool on a particular topic.

Neural networks have already become an integral part of our daily lives, and this will only increase. Therefore, the better you understand this, the more chances you have to be more in demand compared to other people.

Having taken so many courses, I can now pinpoint specific things that I like about university.

Why "Zerocoder"
If there were no advantages, I would not have studied, because it is already clear that I am in Zerocoder seriously and for the long term.

I am glad that we are on the same wavelength with the university. As I said earlier, I took courses in other places and compared everything with Zerocoder, it is the standard for me. I have never encountered such a warm, cozy atmosphere anywhere.

I remember doing my homework for 12 hours during the Adalo 2.0 course — I sat down at seven o'clock and got up at seven in the morning. Of course, this can only be done out of great love. The whole group was moaning then, and the university took everything into account when it launched the updated Adalo 3.0 course, which was absolutely magnificent and understandable down to the last detail.

I really appreciate Zerocoder for the way he works on his materials, constantly adding to them - all this leads to a better version of the product.

I also like the flexibility and loyalty towards students - even those who are no longer newbies. Now I have a lifetime subscription, and I can study any course at any time.

Another plus is the Neuroclub. It’s not really about studying, as it’s a community — a virtual get-together. Here we exchange knowledge, advice, and experience. New webinars are released every week, and in almost a year and a half of the Neuroclub’s existence, I’ve only missed two broadcasts. I always try to get to these talks, as they are a treasure trove of interesting and useful knowledge.

Becoming a Mentor by Accident
At some point, neural networks completely captured my mind. After one of the lectures in the Neuroclub chat, there was a lively discussion about which AI could help make a presentation. I shared information from my neuron caches, and later received an invitation to give a talk at the Neuroclub, where I spoke in more detail about each platform.

Once again, in another chat, not from the university, I held a master class with screenshots on how to work with Midjourney. After that, people started writing to me in private messages with requests to conduct individual training.

Learn and teach
I think I'm not patient enough to be a teacher. I consider it my shortcoming, but I always try to convey the material in a chewed and understandable way.

Plus, I speak on topics that are very interesting to me, that captivate and inspire both me and others.

Aspirations
I want to finish the Python course. I'm a little behind my colleagues because I'm going through a very busy period in my life.

Afterwards, I plan to return to FlutterFlow, which was a bit of a challenge for me, and master it to expand the range of services for the Russian-speaking audience. Since my overall goal is to become a full-stack developer.
