When are your solar rebates paid?
Once your eligible solar panel and battery system is fully installed and you have paid the final installation invoice to the eligible contracting company, BC Hydro will review your rebate application. You must also provide BC Hydro with your project documents, which they will verify before paying your rebate. Your project must pass safety and compliance inspections before the rebate is paid.

Generally, it takes about 60 days from the date your project is reviewed to receive payment, but it may take longer if BC Hydro conducts an on-site verification inspection of your project.
