Otherwise, I still don't understand why he became elastic. Did he fuse with the spandex in his underwear? If he had been sealed with bubble wrap, he would have become Acne-man? I'm puzzled.
What was I saying? Oh yeah: the army has recovered all the junk from Baxter's, and is even developing a new teleporter, Jean-Jacques Baxter explaining that on the strange planet discovered by our heroes, named "Planet Zero" in honor of the scenario, there are many mysterious resources and energies that the United States could use to literally control not only this new world, but also the Earth itself! So there is great enthusiasm. Except for Johnny and Susan, who, although not present, are vaguely aware that they want to be used for shady purposes. But they hardly move to resist it. Probably they just put indignant statuses on Facebook like " Fed up job function email database with work :'( " " Another Monday... " or " Six weeks until vacation... I'm going to die lol ", as is proper in this kind of situation.
To finalize the new teleporter, though, it would be nice to have Reed Richards to help out, since Viktor is dead and the two of them are the ones who built the only working thing of this kind. Except here's the thing: , where, modifying his face with his elastic powers, and wearing a not-so-discreet homemade outfit to help him control his anomaly, he lives off tinkering for the locals and smuggling guacamole. He lives in an old shed where he's set up various computers to play Candy Crush in peace, and obviously has a wall covered in... newspaper clippings.
I'm tired. I'm going to launch a " Save a Screenwriter, Give a Scanner " campaign to show these poor creatures the wonders of the modern world. Finally.
For these long months, Reed has been tracking the apparitions of the mysterious rock monster that has become Ben, regularly deployed by the army here and there to attack drug cartels, the Taliban, or even street touts. And has even tried to find him several times when Ben was in the field, but always without success. Unfortunately for him, the army, helped by Susan and her ability to analyze systems, ends up finding him. And sends Ben himself to capture him, which the latter manages to do successfully by using the "rotating headbutt" attack on his little friend ( it's super effective! ). Ben, who feels betrayed by his friend who fled and abandoned him in the shit he had put him in, is a little angry with him. But since it's very poorly played, it's okay.
