SYLWIA: Definitely don't exaggerate your skills, be honest. It's worth being able to admit that you don't know something, but also be ready to learn and try new things. A well-written CV is also important, as well as your presentation at a job interview.
What else? If, for example, someone has a LinkedIn profile, it's great to add recruiters from a given company to your network of contacts - then you can find out what positions are currently being recruited for. You can also go to job fairs, such as Talent Days, and talk to recruiters there directly.
