Element's Tu Bishvat event took place on the slopes leading into Jerusalem. The event included a wild session and plantings, it was natural! It was fun!
The Hetu Bishvat Hazoi event was scheduled for Friday, February 6, 2009, and was held
in an original and interesting spot in the middle of the Motza Forest at the foot of Jerusalem. The amazing area was
all natural and green, providing a natural respite for skaters fed up with concrete and asphalt.

The place was an abandoned warehouse with a faded asbestos roof whose carcinogenic properties had long since disappeared. Under the roof,
I estimate 50 skaters gathered, riding on a bench and a cautery that were attached to the wall and allowed the invading townspeople to perform a series of tricks. There was also a small gap between the cautery and the bench, which created interest in performing a wall ride from the bench to the cautery... In any case, there were interesting exits from the company and the session was in full swing when I arrived.

In the middle of the session, they shouted to everyone to get down email data leave the warehouse and enter the forest to plant trees, yes, plant trees ... Now I have to confess, I think I haven't planted a tree in almost 20 years, and it's a shame because the experience of digging the hole accompanied by the smell of the earth, holding the young tree and covering it with earth is an organic and pure experience that momentarily cleanses all the smoke and noise of the city from the heart... So simple - so true...
Well, back to the noise, the session returned to the original rhythm and with it a barbecue full of burgers and old people like me who made sure to prepare them, all around were photographers, skaters and a speaker that emitted reggae tunes that blended in perfectly with the greenery around. There was also Bitsky who did a drop from the top of the wall into the bank straight to the fall accompanied by a dusty roll, there was Omro with a huge wall ride that reached the edge of the wall and passed the $5000 line that I drew especially to encourage the skaters, there was Aquino with wall rides accompanied by stylish grabs, I won't forget Tzachi with the heights that received applause, also Kfir Eilati, the most Tel Avivian I know with a crazy and unique wall ride sex change, in between there was also Benny Toledo with a high and stable wall ride pike and after hundreds of desperate attempts we also got the landing of Cracker from Pot Planet to Pike.

The guys ate, had fun, and traveled in one of the modest and unique sessions that took place recently. It was fun and respectful of the organization and initiative of Element in collaboration with Gilly.
