LThe Spanish Marketing Association (AMKT) has announced the addition of José Luis Arbeo as its new general director . Arbeo succeeds Víctor Conde, who has held this position for the past eleven years and will now take on new responsibilities within AMKT, as director of the International Marketing Meeting and responsible for relations with LATAM.


José Luis Arbeo, an outstanding career
José Luis Arbeo brings more than 30 years of experience in managing marketing and business development teams in highly competitive sectors. His career includes roles in companies such as Alcampo , Procter & Gamble , Estée Lauder , Movistar , Digital+ and BBVA . He has had direct responsibilities over brand, advertising and branded content, research and CRM, value proposition, segmentation, customer management, process design and digitalization.

The arrival of Arbeo is part of AMKT's evolution process to united states of america number data adapt to the needs of its members and face the challenges of the marketing industry in areas such as regulation, sustainability, technology and artificial intelligence . José Luis will report directly to the AMKT Governing Council, chaired by Enrique Arribas.

Since 2020, Arbeo has worked as a Senior Advisor and independent consultant, developing marketing and customer experience projects in various sectors, including telecommunications, fashion, health, energy, banking, retail and communication. In addition, since 2021 he is the academic director of the Customer Experience Executive Program at IE Executive Education and a member of the executive committee of the Association of Transformative Creativity Agencies .

The legacy of Victor Conde
Víctor Conde , who has been a fundamental pillar in AMKT, will assume the direction of the AMKT International Marketing Meeting , scheduled for the first months of 2025. He will also manage institutional relations with LATAM , thus expanding the association's presence and collaboration in this region.

AMKT , a non-profit professional association with more than 60 years of history , says it will continue its mission of promoting the development of marketing and putting it into practice in organizations and society. It currently represents 137 companies and more than 1,100 professionals in Spain.
