Add a new block before a specific block group in the full site editor

Post by shaownhasane »

Once you've done this, you'll need to delete the existing malta phone number block at that location or add a new group block on top of the existing block.

In our example, we will simply delete the block that already exists on the home page. If you'd like to do the same thing, you can click the "List View" button on the left side of the page.

Next, find the block or blocks you want to delete to make room for the hero section. Once you find them, click on the button with three dots and select "Delete."

Now, select the block directly below the block or blocks you just deleted.

Then, click on the three-dot button and select “Add-ons.” This will add a block directly above the block and below the title section.

At this point, you can click on the "+" button that appears in the hypothetical hero section.

You'll want to add a new Group block here, which will allow you to handle the hero image, text, buttons, and other elements as a single block if needed.

Now you can select the container where you want to add the block.

For demonstration purposes, we selected a basic Group container.

Then, click the "+" button inside the "Groups" block.

Here, select the "Cover" block.

Next, you'll see 3 options for adding a hero background image: Upload from PC, Add from Media Library, or Use Featured Image.
