Relations between Amazon and Google are not exactly going through the best of times, but it seems that things could soon be calming down, in time for Christmas (the perfect time to bury the hatchet).
A few days ago, Google decided to remove YouTube support from Amazon's Echo Show and Fire TV devices. There was a reason behind this controversial decision: Jeff Bezos' company did not offer Google's Chromecast gadget among its products (nor did it offer Apple TV).
Since 2015, both Chromecast and Apple TV have been banned from Amazon's website. However, relations between Amazon and Apple seem to have normalized in recent times. More than enough proof of this is that the Amazon Prime Video app is now available for Apple TV.
Well, it seems that the easing of tensions between Amazon and Apple south africa phone number ended up affecting Google as well, as the e-commerce giant is willing to reconcile with both companies.
According to Cnet , Amazon will once again sell both Apple TV and Chromecast on its platform.
While neither of these devices, both designed for video streaming, are available for sale yet, they will be landing on Amazon soon.
Amazon's decision comes as a relief to customers of the three tech titans currently in contention who have felt squeezed in recent times by public spats between Amazon, Google and Apple.
