2. Spain leads the list of youth unemployment in Europe, with more than 50% of young people out of work. One of the solutions proposed to try to solve this problem is precisely the Dual Vocational Training system. How are companies accepting it?
The Administration has implemented good actions to promote the qualification and employability of young Spaniards, but they have not translated into the expected positive results.
The idea must be transformed into action, and this is where the biggest problem lies.
In the area of Dual Vocational Training governed by the Ministry of Education, few calls are established in the Autonomous Communities, and this translates into a shortage of opportunities to use this type of FP among students of Vocational Training Cycles.
As regards Vocational Training for Employment, we have suffered a 76% decrease in Training and Apprenticeship Contracts compared to last year. Furthermore, being more practical and going into the economic sphere, companies benefit from salary reductions, as well as tax benefits, which can make this type of hiring much more attractive.
