When it comes to artificial intelligence, most companies are still taking their first (and shaky) steps. This technology is already available to companies, but they are facing a serious problem in implementing it: the shortage of "data scientists ." At least this is the conclusion of a recent study by the software company SAS .

Most of the 100 companies surveyed by SAS in its report have begun to discuss the potential of artificial intelligence for their business or have already initiated the first projects in this regard.

Even so, there are many companies that fear not being able to take full advantage of this technology due to a lack of resources. And not because there are not enough tools and solutions to properly get started with artificial intelligence, but because of a lack of know-how , specifically data scientists.

Burdened by the shortage of data scientists, only 20% of companies feel adequately afghanistan phone number prepared (from a human resources perspective) to approach artificial intelligence. And 19% of companies admit to not yet having teams specialized in this technology .

28% of companies also plan to implement staff programmes and organisational measures to appropriately address AI. And 32% plan to provide their employees with specific training on AI.

Due to a lack of know-how, approximately 50% of companies do not fully trust the results derived from artificial intelligence technologies .

Beyond know-how, another obstacle that stands between companies and artificial intelligence is infrastructure . Only 24% of companies have truly adequate infrastructure for artificial intelligence, while 29% do not yet have any kind of platform to host their artificial intelligence actions.
