I am Kavi Kardos. I'm speaking here at Brighton SEO this week, and I'm recording a Friday whiteboard for you on site architecture for resource and content libraries. You can also find me on Twitter @therarevos and LinkedIn. I'm the only Kavi Kardos out there, so I'm pretty easy to find.

This is a process you can use if you are building a resource or teacher database library for the first time or if you are inheriting a website perhaps as a new in-house SEO or with a new client who has a resource or content library that you know is experiencing some build issues. So maybe you've discovered these issues because your users aren't giving you the performance you expect or the conversions you expect.

You may have looked at your log files and noticed that your users or search engines or search bots are getting stuck at some point in the navigation process. Or maybe you've walked through this material library yourself and experienced these build problems yourself. So either way, it's a four-step process that includes auditing, mapping, migration, and design, and it's the process we followed when we overhauled our resource library at the Corporate Finance Institute, where I've been the in-house SEO director since July.
