Deep Fake Trend

Post by jakariabd@ »

A deep fake is a video that shows fake images, usually of a person's face, that appear to be real and have been produced using artificial intelligence; specifically, these are machine learning techniques called deep learning, which use neural network algorithms.

Artificial intelligence allows us not only to alter images, but also to create them.

Deep fakes work through generative neural network models, or deep learning. Basically, the algorithms learn to create images of real or fictional people after processing a database of sample images.

The most popular deep fakes are of celebrities, as c level executive list there are an immense amount of photos and videos available online, but they can also be done with anyone, as long as you can obtain enough images, for example, from social media.

Technology is harmless in itself, and its effective use can have a significant positive impact on the lives of individuals, businesses, and society. Legitimate use of the image and voice of others opens up significant business opportunities in the worlds of television, film, marketing, and more.

The artificial intelligence technology behind deep fakes and machine learning already has a very promising future.

As this technology advances and becomes more widely available, so does the risk of deep fakes being used for malicious purposes. Artificial intelligence itself can be used to detect deep fakes.
